Guaranty trust Bank have made in such a way that a there customers can easily block there ATM Card if they lose it or if someone stole it or too the last four digit of the card all they have to do is to follow the steps below.

Block Your GTBank ATM Card if Lost / Stolen or Compromised card

There are two ways for one to block his or her lost GTBank ATM card and they include;

• SMS Banking

If you lost your GTBank ATM Card all you have to do is to follow the steps below.
To block your lost, stolen or compromised card – Send ‘HOTLIST ( NUBAN Account Number) to 08076665555 E.g HOTLIST to 08076665555
You will recieve a short SMS that your card have been successfully “HOTLISTED”

Note the following:

1. Use your telephone number that is registered with the bank.
2. Any request sent with the wrong format or from the wrong mobile number will return with error messages.
3. NUBAN – Nigerian Uniform Bank Account Number and is usually in ten digit

• Through GTBank Internet Banking.

It also possible using the GTBank internet banking and it’s also easy.
All you need to do is login to your internet banking account and click cards, a drop down will show up; then click on ‘Card Hotlist’ select card number and put expiry date of you card and at the bottom select why you want to block your ATM card, such as fraud detect, stolen, lost e.t.c
After submitting the request it will take some minutes for GTbank to have your ATM card block.
